Presentation Guide

A guide to your Week 8 and Week 16 presentations — what to prepare, and how to handle questions.

What happens: you speak for 30–45 seconds using your frame. Then you answer one question from the teacher, and one from a classmate.

Before you start

🍃
Take 3 slow breaths. In, out. In, out. In, out.
👀
Find 2 friendly faces in the class before you start — look at them while you speak.

3 steps to get ready

1
Practice out loud. 3 times at home. Say the whole thing, not just in your head.
2
Pick your example ahead of time. Something real. So you're never stuck thinking of one live.
3
Speak slowly and clearly. There's no rush.

Answering a question

A 3-second pause before you answer is fine. That's thinking time. If you don't understand, say: "Can you ask that again?"

"Why do you like that one more?"
"Can you give one more example?"
"Did you like it at the start, or more now?"
Everyone feels nervous the first time — even your teacher. By Week 16, most students say it feels much easier.
