The Forum Journal · Grade 1
A workbook your child previews before class and uses during class and at home. Starting with one picture-based sentence frame, by Session 16 your child will connect their favorite thing with a reason. Every week has five parts: Word Activities, Brainstorm, This Week's Ideas, Writing, and This Week's Structures: Speaking & Writing — plus a short weekly Quick Review and a longer Vocabulary Check every 4 weeks.
After each online class, we send a thorough KakaoTalk update about today's sentence, words, and how your child engaged in class — your child then marks the stamp card on the next page themselves. In Sessions 8 and 16, your child also prepares a short introduction presentation.
